02 Tbsp. butter
02 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
Heat a grill to medium-high, direct heat.
Peel carrots and cut into 02 inch long slices.
At the thick end of the carrot, slice in half, long-wise.
Tear off five 04 x 04 inch squares of aluminum foil.
Place about five carrot slices on each sheet of foil.
Add a pat of butter, a little salt and pepper and wrap up into a packet.
Throw on the grill for about 15 to 20 minutes.
When carrots are ready to come off of the grill, add the butter and maple syrup to a sauce pan and simmer over low heat until butter melts, stirring to combine.
Remove carrots from the grill and place in a bowl.
Pour sauce over carrots and stir before serving.
